The 1st edition of vol. I appeared in Tübingen, 1878, under title, "Opera patrum apostolicorum. Textum recensuit [etc.] Franc. Xav. Funk. Ed. post Hefelianam quartam V". It was reissued with new t.-p. and preface in 1881, together with vol. II. (cf. Brit. mus. Catalogue) In 1887 vol. I was again issued with the addition of the Doctrine, and a new t.-p. which reads: "Edito nova Doctrina duodecim apostolorum adaucta." The Doctrina was published independently at the same time
